Introduction
Johannesburg’s summer awakens nature—lush greens, runny rivers, and reflective quiet. It is such a beautiful sight to behold. I On one morning stroll by a river, I took pictures of trees standing across the riverbank. Its reflection came out perfectly in the river.
It made me stop and ponder: Isn’t life, work, business, and personal branding very much akin to this?

Deep and sturdy roots are the foundation of a strong tree. In life, work, personal branding, business, and leadership, our roots are our knowledge, insights, values, and experiences. They shape us. They affect how we develop and how other people view us.
